Torque Converter ?? With the Mods I have listed below, Do I need a Torque Converter, i hear people talking about them all the time. How much will it help as far as H.P., and what kind of money are we talking about? Where can I find one for a good price?

It will lower your HP, but make your car ET much better. Get at least a 3500 stall. It will drop your times by .5 or better. TC can be installed with any mods or even a stock car and it will help tremendously.

All A4's need a bigger converter then what they come with from the factory. I would not give a second thought about getting a Yank converter. The price is well worth it. If you want the best go with the best. I have not had any experience with a TCI but they are a good converter for the price and from one of my friends that had one and also from what people say, you won't be dissapointed with a TCI.

I would recommend a Vigilante converter, their reliability is unmatched.
But whatever converter you get, a trans cooler is a must (they're cheap). A shift kit isn't a bad idea either.
