4l60e advice please help! Well I have a 99 t/a, I changed gears, went from 3.23 to 3.73 then my stock trans went out about 20 mins after, so I bought another trans and converter off of a friend that came out of a 2wd truck, GM just rebuilt both and they have 0 miles. Now it takes off in 2nd even if you pull it back in to 1st it still takes off in 2nd and then it only goes to 3rd and wont go to 4th at all. Every time you pull it in to gear or it switches into 3rd it jerks really hard. If you pull it back in 1st it will only stall to about 1600 rpm but if you put it in overdrive it will almost stall to 2500 rpm. ???? any suggestions? I changed the shift solenoids in it and does the same thing. Any and all advice and help is appreciated. Thanks
Your in limp mode check the trans electrical conector and scan for codes
