Default 700R4 No Forward No Reverse

1992 Chevy k1500 pickup. Standard bed.

Transmission got to where it would not take off immediately when putting in gear. Had to wait 30 seconds or so before truck would move.

Then, one day while pulling a tree stump I heard a loud pop underneath the truck and the it would not go into forward, reverse or park.

When I start the truck now, there is a loud whining coming from the transmission while the truck is idling.

Any ideas? or questions.

Well if you have no park I would say you either broke the output shaft or rear planet area.

K1500= 4x4
Does it click rapidly when you idle it and move from gear to park? If so it's a transfer case problem, like a broken chain.
I forgot which t case those have.
