Unhappy 4l60e problems

(99 v6 4l60e)I have noticed that after my car warms up and has been drivin a while that is sometimes acts like the lock up on the converter is unlocking and locking back in or to some it seems like it is shifting out of overdrive into drive just for a second then it goes right back in just wondering if any ideas out there for this problem. no ses codes.

Engine misfire is a common reason for random lock and unlock of the converter. It does not nessesarily set a code , Sometimes it will make the ses light flicker.

bringing this one back up !!!

still havent figured it out, checked all the sensors, wires etc.

it didnt do it for a long time, then i hit a nice dip in the road & the low traction light came on, kicked it out of overdrive for a bit. now when i hit small bumps in the road it kicks it out of overdrive (and is very annoying)

any ideas ?

you need to get the car on a scanner. I once had a 700r4 do this exact same thing and it turned out to be a coolant temp sensor. It was causing the computer to lock and unlock the converter randomly at around 40 mph but it never set an ses light.
