i was replacing 1-2 shift solenoid in transmission when i pulled retainer clip and ball and spring shot out of valve with the solenoid. I was pretty sure i saw the spring shoot out first but i wanted to get a little feedback before i just jumped the gun . Which way should it go back in? ball spring and then solenoid or spring ball then solenoid? thanks for any input.

 

Ball then spring then solenoid. The larger side of the spring goes toward the solenoid.
