2-step use without a T-brake
I want to leave at 3500ish but can only hold the car to a 2800-3000 brake stall. Was wondering if i hooked up my 2-step feature on the LTCC box I have if I could leave at more throttle and more RPM? I was really wanting to leave at WOT from the 2-step but I dont think that will work but I might be wrong, just wondering what the options are with the 2-step and A3....

no a convertor will lock up at its point whether you foot brake it or not ,and also a convertor is made to flash so you power braking till its locked is not the wAY it is designed to work,you may need more stall or need to just flash it and let it do its job, call the convertor co. and explain your problem after you try just letting it flash 

My car will push thru the breaks at 2800-3000,like yours.The Yank 4200 likes a LOT of stall.
The 2 step will activate at the rpm you set it,you would have to set it no higher than 2800 rpm[otherwise you will push thru the brakes].Now with the 2 step wired to the brake pedal you bring the rpms up to 2800 and then floor it,the engine will stutter at 2800 rpm and when you release the brake it will go WOT instantly.It should help with more consistent launch and be a bit quicker than having to mash the pedal after you let the brake go.
