Default Help diagnosing a possible problem.

After some good hard abuse I have weak shifts and the car does not have the bite that it used to. It is also not downshifting correctly. For example when the trans should be downshifting to 2nd, it stays in 3rd. When I would give it 3/4 throttle, the converter would lockup and take off. Now it feels sluggish. Any ideas?

I would check fluid condition first. Scan for code of course also , Weak shifts point to low line presure. The no downshift however could point to the TPS which also affects line presure.

Kick down cable was very loose. Looks like that is going to be the problem. Appreciate your help!
