i just had a tranny built, and while its seems to be strong first gear is almost non-exsistant ex:in D or OD it starts out in first as normal but its only there for slipt second then immediatly to 2nd, if i manualy shift it to first, same thing it will go strait to second once i start moving, without me even touching the shifter, any ideas or what it could be...

 

This may sound stupid but what kind of rear end gear do you have. When I got my 3.73s my car did the same thing and I fixed it with predator. It just sounds like you need to do some shift point tuning. More details would also help.

 

I have 4.10s with no pcm tuning so the speedo is way off and it doesn't do that. Sounds like you need to warranty the trans.

 

It's just his part throttle shift points. It's a matter of programming.
