scatter shield?

scatter shield? i have a stock 4l60e with 30k.....402/381 373 gears and 3k stall....iv heard horror storries of trans coming up and taking guys legs off, if and when my trans goes im lookin at it comin up through the floor board? i was lookin at gettin a scatter shield if that was the case, thanks
Scattershield s are for the flexpalte converters and a blanket is usually used on tranny.

well i like my legs and feet thats why i want one, i dont race, just test and tune, and where i go they dont tech for ****, so i can get away with it i dont car about that its more for personal safety, i was just wondering if 4l60e completely stock with 30,000 miles with 402/381 2800 stall 373's and a mickey thomson, put me in the situation where i need to look into one, or of thats not really necessary yet bc im not making enough power/not leaving at a high enough rpm?????/thanks for the help
