Default Trans Mount?

What mount do you guys use to replace a broken mount? I have a ES poly mount from another car but I've heard about it being bad for our cars. Is a Pro-thane mount any better? Or should I just use a 1LE mount and does anyone know the part number for it.

1LE is a geat mount. I wouldn't run poly unless you have poly motor mounts. The 1LE is stronger and stiffer than stock. Best part is they're only $20 or so from SLP (well, they were when I got mine). The stud that goes through the crossmember is a different size, so you will need two nuts, a washer, a lockwasher, and some loctite would help as well. All another $5 in materials, including the Loctite.

Sorry but I don't have the part # handy

I replaced my tranny mount with a poly mount and now I can feel EVERY vibration in the drive train. If I did it again I would get a 1LE mount.

A friend of mine relaced his stock mount with a Energy Suspension poly mount, and it vibrates like crazy. Definately would not be my first choice.

Did you remove the "nubs" before using you ES mount? Are the nubs where the mount touches the trans.?
