U joint cap diameter For the record...
U joint cap diameter on a 7.5" GM 10 bolt for F Body is 1 1/8".
U joint cap diameter on a 8.5" GM 10 bolt for Astro/Safari Van is 1 3/16".
The number of splines (28) and the diameter on both pinions is the same. Therefore, the pinion flanges on both are interchangeable.
The height of the Astro/Safari Van flange is less than that of the Fbody stock flange, therefore the driveshaft measurement changes (longer) if you do the flange swap.
