Tranny problem 99 Corvette Automatic tranny
My buddy downshifted into 2nd gear at over 100mph. ( don't know why ) but he did.
With the tranny in drive, the car doesn't move, it acts like it's in Neutral
The car drives if you manually shift 1 2 3,
Sometimes after you manually shift thru the gears, the tranny will work in Drive, but if you come to a stop, you have to manually go thru the gears again. No codes have came up
Any ideas?

sounds like either a broke roller or and input sprag. Either way its gotta come out
