Default Problems after converter install... in and out of lock-up... any input?

Got my converter put in back in late march and I've had an issue with it going in and out of lock-up. The converter locks then about a minute later unlocks then locks back up after about a minute or so, sometimes longer, sometimes shorter.

I just had the car tuned and even through HPTuners he couldn't get it to lock up through the computer when it un-locks...

Anyone have any input on this or similar stories?

Its very annoying, not to mention making my tranny run hotter, plus taking the life out of my poor 4L60e...

Any advice would be greatly appriciated.

The converter is a Yank SS3600 and it was brand new so the converter should not be an issue I wouldn't think unless the shop (which was reputable) messed something up when they installed it.

Do a search - there are cells you change to stop the convertor from locking and unlocking. Any good tuner should know what to change.

Back in the day it used to be fixed in the misfire table - but that was with LSedit (32767 as I recall).

"Locking and unlocking" in search brings up a bunch of hits. To search you have to login.
