Torque managment removal?

Okay, what is torque managment removal when installing a torque converter, how's it done, and how important is it?

using ls1 edit you can remove TM...basically the pcm pulls timing to smooth out the shifts so they wont be as harsh...this isnt optimum for best performance and most prefer to delete this so it firms up the shifts.

Torque Management is actually something controlled by the computer. What happens is when the computer detects more than 360lb-ft of output, it cuts back on engine output (by cutting timing I believe) in an attempt to save the transmission.

Removing it will result in faster times, and a faster death to your trans (not like it won't die anyway).

You remove it using LS1-Edit, not by physically doing anything.
