Just Dropped off The Converter Hey guys not really sure if this goes in the automatic forum or the nitrous forums. I just dropped off my converter on 6/11 at a local speed shop for them to send it back to precision and have it cut and cleaned. When I told them that I've got a nitrous shot on it now 100 dry they told me that the original stall of 3200 was kinda high so they probably will restall now but not that sure what to, going to call on 6/15 for a update. Just really wanted to know what you guys all thought of it.
I had the converter in years back but it was kinda high for my "street" car but was awesome when I went to the track just slicks and 3.73s stock rear (now strange 12bolt) and with slicks on the 3200 stall it ran a 12.3 @109, but on the street it felt like the car would fall flat on its face after about 65-70ish, animal out of the hole but always fall after that mph. I've got the stock converter in now and nitrous (which I didn't have before). The car would flash to 38-4k and then shift at 6k then only drop back down to like 5500 or so (kinda high for me).
