tranny cooler question???
tranny cooler question??? ok having my trans rebuilt and a stall put in.bought one of the b&m coolers heres the link...... http://http://www.summitracing.com/parts/BMM-70264/?image=largeand my tranny guy told me that this does cool better but restricts flow and the cheaper aftermarket auto zone style cooler would actually be better.can i have your guys input and personal experience thanks guys much appreciative for your help and ideas...

I have used B&M coolers and the one that I had used basically restricts the fluid until it warms up and flows normally. To me if your running the stock in radiator unit in line, then your just making it less efficent.
Go by the GVW rating, becuase unless your going to physically run measured fluid through it and time it, you wont knows and how certain units dissapates heat better then others is subjective as well.
One thing I liked about the B&M's was the solid, rigid, construction. Some coolers out there are just a few bends of a tube with aluminum fins and I do not feel as comfortable to use them.
