damn th400 dipstick
damn th400 dipstick i ordered a MADMAN dipstick and it doesnt fit worth ****. its either too short up top or it is all angled wrong. im sick and tired of companies like madman , bmr etc... saying all of their products fit perfect. Its not like its a new thing putting a th400 in a ls1 car now.

I have the madman also and it's a major pain in the *** to get in there but it will fit. Take the bolts out of the crossmemeber and drop the rear of the tranny as much as possible. I actually put mine down through from the top which I was told was impossible. I thought it was bent wrong too and did some custom bending myself which I later had to take out once I got it in there. I'm still not sure where that tab is supposed to bolt to though. It wasn't even close to the bellhousing bolts.
it went in with alot of extra bending and yeah what the hell is that tab supposed to bolt to? its right in between the head hole and the bellhousing hole who knows.
