i got a 2002 camaro z28 auto...its got a mild cam in it. I ran at the track the other night and went to drive it home and it seems like it skips second gear. first gear will go to about 4500 then shift into what seems third gear. If you stomp the pedal in first it wont shift at all...what could be causing this? anyone have a problem like this? im not sure what to do

 

If you also do not have 4th I would say the 2-4 band is broken

 

I had the exact same problem when I bought my car. If I tried to manually put it in second it was just like neutral. Sounds like you need a rebuild.

 

yes manualy shifting it into 2nd its also like nuetral im trying to find some one to rebuld it for a decent price bc itss my daily driver
