Default Need Help Buying a Stall.

So, sadly enough we don't have 700-900 to spend on just a stall for the car and only one person got back to me about a 3600 Stall, but i'm not sure the wife will enjoy that at all while driving an hour to 45 minutes to work. So, I went on e-bay last night looking around for Stalls and found a few. I know, It's either go brand name or go home, but we are on a tight budget here sadly enough and need the car back on the road in Mid August at the latest. So here are the links to the Stalls. Everybodies opinion and help is appreciated. Also It's for a CC503 Cam going into my 1994 Automatic Firebird Formula, with all the necessary mods.

E-bay Stalls

Now, am I just blindly buying a Stall off e-bay or what? Also, if a Stall doesn't have lock up. Can you just buy a lock up clutch or do you need to buy a stall with lock up?

Look in the for sale section you might find a better deal as I have heard horror stories about E-Bay converters
Good luck in finding what you need.

I agree with Yank, the Ebay idea is scary. It could and probably will fail, costing a lot more for a tranny rebuild. Good luck.

If you want a awesome converter for a really good price the only people i use and even talk to is monster transmission. Call around and see actually how many companies ask you for your Camshaft Specifications. Alot of them dont ask which is the big determining key for the correct stall not what your rear gear and tire size is. Dont get me wrong that does matter but not as much as Cam Specs.
