please help won't go into 1 gear.
please help won't go into 1 gear. i got this trans from a guy on here and it wont go into first. i got a 4000 converter to.. when you back up it stalls at 2200 like it should. when you go to take off you have to give it lots of gas and rev it to like 3500. well i was on the road and all the other gears worked. so i pulled it down into first gear and it felt really weird like it was bound up or something.. so i stopped and did a hole shot it stalled at 4000 but was pretty slow and stayed in second gear. when i was installing the trans a noticed that the plug on the trans was pushed down a bit and you could turn it.. i think that that could be the prob just want some other opinions.. thats alot for any help.
