Default flywheel problem

ok I'm putting a 00' 6.0 into my 96 bird, I just ran into a problem. I know those years have the longer crankshaft. The flywheel I have off a 5.3 wont line up correctly with the starter. What do I need to fix this? Also will I have problems mating this motor up with a 4l60e from a 00' avalance?

i think your around the time they used a longer rear crank hub on the 6.0-if your really lucky, it just has the .400 spacer on the back, and you can rem. it and use your flywheel-look at the back of your crank, see if there are 2-threaded holes 180 degs apart, the other 6 holes wont have any thread for aprx. .400-if so, its just the adapter, and the 2 threaded holes can be used to screw down and rem. it
if its a one piece crank, you will need the 6.0 flywheel for a 4l80e, and maybe a custom built converter-maybe a conv. co will chime in-at least thats what i have found anyway

Solved the flywheel problem atleast. Got a flywheel from a 97 vortec slightly enlarged the holes and it bolted up without a fight.
Haven't checked the trans yet

Manuals have flywheels, autos have flexplates.
