4l80 1st gear wine????

does a 4l80 have that 1st gear wine like it does in a 2500hd truck? i was just thinking if they all make this sound?

Mine has a little whine (there is no insulation where my 6speed shifter used to be)

Probably, yeah. The th350 in my previous car had the 1st gear whine, and it was normal

Almost all 4L80's whine in first. Its just the nature of the beast. And some of the newer models had straight cut rear planets Which made it even worse.
