Having another problem after I fixed my bad 2-3 solenoid... Trans doesnt seem to slip at all, but when im anything over 75% throttle to bring the rpm's up it puts itself in neutral instead of shifting to the next gear? I have to let off the gas completly and let it catch up then its fine. but it does this in all gears? any ideas?

 

1996 z28 stock converter. Trans has been rebuilt

Just noticed from a stop I put it down in 1 and when I went to take off it kinda shuttered and just revved up wouldnt grab but if i put it back up in d it grabbed and took off normal?????? could it be the valave body or pump or somthing? im outa ideas there is no code for the trans.

 

putting it in D turns on the overun clutch, Sounds like the INPUT SPRAG is letting loose as the overun clutch would support it and eliminate the issue in D

 

hmmm that sucks trans maybe has 9k on the rebuild..
