Default Is it ok to plug the 4th accumulator hole?

I built my 2002 4L60E and it works well. 4th doesn't shift as firm as I thought it would.
I put in the complete TransGo HD2-B kit with a stock width BW hi energy band, BW 8 pack 3-4 clutches, stock servo, .093 feed hole in the seperator plate, aluminum accumulator pistons to replace the plastic ones. I used a fourth accumulator feed plug out of a TransGo 700R4 2&3 kit.
Was that a bad idea?

All the shifts got equally more firm except 3-4 stayed stock feeling.
What would be the best way to make it more firm?
Thanks.

Plugging it wont hurt anything but placing the spring in first then the accum or even leaving the spring our will have virtually the same affect sine the chamber will already be full of fluid. Generally though the 3-4 shift will not be as firm as the other shifts in any case .

Ok, thanks. It does seem to hold well in 4th, I'll just leave it alone.
