Pinging sound when going into reverse??

Pinging sound when going into reverse?? I just bought an A4 99 Trans Am and when I put it in reverse it makes a pinging sound. I changed the u-joints in the drive shaft thinking thats what it was but no change.... HELP!
That's common, all A4's with the aluminum driveshaft do it. Not much you can do really. It won't hurt anything.

ahh.... makes me feel better.... was worried about it... I wonder if it will do it as bad after I get a 3800 or so Stall? It should be less force on the drive shaft until I give it gas right....
