should i put the trans cooler in stock transmission?

The factory one should be good, unless you race alot.

What he said. Once you put a high stall converter in there might be a good idea to add some additional cooling. My setup runs through my stock cooler as well as a smaller B&M piece.

If you run it hard, it wouldn't hurt to run a small cooler.
