How do you change out the flexplate ? ? ?

I am thinking of doing this to be on the safe side since I have an 02 ls1. What needs to be done to remove the old one and put the new one in?

You have to completely remove the transmission to gain access to it. Are you having issues or pushing a lot of power. I would not change it unless you have a crack or are in there for a converter swap.
