What are you spinning your trans to? Im going to be running a pt 4400 and my cam is def more of a high RPM cam and I want to get the most power out of it through the power band. Specs in sig. Should I be safe spinning it to 7000+ when I race?

 

Whats rpm does ur hp peak at?

 

Im guessing itll peak around 7100

 

I spin mine to 6800rpm. Been doing it for for 2 years. I am a heads/cam/intake car on spray.

 

Sweet thats good to know..not that im having doubts but im about to get the car running and just wanted to know what your experiences are.

 

I would set ur shift points 100-200 rpm above ur peak.Play with it a little,to see what it likes.As far as the trans ,i would pm performabuit about that.I would assume it would be fine,its a built tranny.
