I had the transgo shift kit installed about 2 months ago. Everything was great. Went to the track and everything was fine. Then I noticed my 2 to 3 shift would slip ever so slightly on the last couple of runs . Well a month later I made it to the track again and now it slips so bad it hits the rev limiter before it shifts and my rev limiter is set at 6500.
I have an A4 97 corvette. Everything was fine before the shift kit and under normal and slightly agressive driving its not there. Only at WOT does it slip on the 2 to 3rd shift only. I will bring it to the installer to check out.

Do you think the shift kit is the cause or my tranny is going. Its not a daily driver and when I installed the shift kit he told me the tranny looked very good and it was clean.

 

I dont think that a shift kit would cause your tranny to slip, you should check out the 2-3 clutches. Thats probally the source of your problem.

I would take it back to the tranny guy that did the install. Let him look at it.

 

the self of steem is kinda an insider joke thing. It was a post where some girl was talking smack for her dad and she kept saying how she was a straight A student and the she said that she had a lot of self of steem. It was just funny.
