Hi. I have a 98 Z28 with the 4L60E trans. The trans is slowly but surely going out and the posi unit has burnt out. So now only my back right rear tire spins. And no it dosen't have an open rearend. I was just wondering, instead of stock would it be wise to go ahead and upgrade to and aftermarket trans since I do plan on doing some mods to the engine later on. If so, who should I go through for my Trans. I've heard great things about Performabuilt. Just wondering whatelse is out there. Also, should I just rebuild my stock rearend or go for a moser or strange 12 bolt. Like I said, I do plan on doing some major mods to the LS1 later on. Maybe even a total swap and definitly a power adder. Don't know yet if I want SC'ed or TC'ed. I have some time. But for now, definitly need the new trans very soon. So feed back would be greatly appriciated.....
