i have a 1999 camaro z28, did some racing in it and now i think its about time to rebuild my tranny. im in ky and im not to sure about where to take it so im thinking of doin it myself. from the problems im having im pretty sure i have a worn 3-4 syncro, possible bent shift fork, my reverse syncro is barely workin i have to hold it in reverse ( for some reason the solenoid didnt come out to stop me from goin from 4rth to reverse.) car has 120000 miles on it, should i get a master rebuild kit which comes with all the bearings and blocker rings etc.... and the syncro, steel shift fork with brass pads.
