Default Upgrading flexplate

I remember reading a while back when I thought I had a cracked flexplate that these are weak in the f bodies

Any recommendations as to which brand I should replace it with when I swap in the stall and built transmission?

There is an upgrade unit listed on a couple sites and ebay for $85, I'm not really wanting to drop $250 for a tci brand

The CAT Power flexplate, which is rebranded a lot, is the cheapest SFI flexplate available. I got mine for like $80 shipped. Its about twice as thick as the factory piece. Seems a lot stronger.
