Default Quick internal 4l60e question...

Just realized this and am not sure if its right. Talked to several people and some so its ok while others say its not.

When air checking the 3/4's is air suppose to be comming from this hole? The hole with the check ball doesn't really leak and the flat one under the washer is fine, its just this one.

Thanks!

I believe you are talking about the 2nd hole down? If you are applying air to the 1rst hole, you must place your finger over the 2nd hole to make sure it holds air. Now put air to the 2nd hole and make sure NO air comes out of the 1rst hole. Let us know.

Yes when air checking the 3-4 clutch you will get air from what you have circled. That is an air bleed that is used for lubrication. Not to worry. Vince Bielanski
