4l60E with ls2????
4l60E with ls2???? will the 4L60E hold up to an LS2?? I've heard that the ls2 puts out more hp than what the 4L60E can handle? Thinking of swapping my 244k ls1 with a 60k ls2.
It may or may not. There are people with 400+ HP LS1s still using the stock 4l60e and others that have broke theirs with stock HP. There is no real way to know. How many miles on the tranny?
You drove 50k miles in year? Like I said some last and some dont there is no way of telling. If it was me and could get the LS2 for a good deal I would put it in. Then I would save my money for a built tranny.
LOL I drive 80 miles everyday round trip to work and back. It's my Daily and so far hasn't failed me yet.*knock on wood* original motor and 3 transmissions later still runs like a champ, sometimes like a diesel though (trail of smoke out of exhaust) lol
