Default What to expect....

Ok my Yank SS4000 stall will be here friday, right now i'm riding around on the stock converter, what kind of difference can i expect, driving around town etc. When people say loose, how do you describe that when driving, gotta give it more pedal to move? how much 1/4, 1/2 etc.. Sorry for the ignorance, I've never driven a car with a stall. Thanx..

That should be a great converter setup. Its weird when you first drive it but you will get used to it after a day or so of driving. I think you will love the converter. When driving around town from stoplight to stoplight it might be a good idea to keep the gear selector in 3rd so the converter will not want to lock/unlock but thats mainly personal preferance. Be prepared to have major traction issues. This converter will be fairly loose with the stock gears but nothing that you want get used to. Good Luck

I would expect you will need new tires to hook that thing up. But should put you into the mid 11s is my guess

Which gears do you have?
I rode with a buddy of mine today with an 02 Firehawk. Huge cam, headers, 342's & the SS4000..... F@#% WOW!!!!
I liked it so much that i will be buying his stock 323's ( only 500 mi.) & the SS3500... The TQ. conv. by far seems to be the best mod for our A4's.
I currently have dog 273's........
Good luck.
