Default Bolt a 350 to a 4L60E

Hello.

And first off I'm new to the V8 swaps. So I want to learn, don't take it to harsh on me.

Will a 350 sbc bolt up to a 4l60e?

I read somewhere that it needs some control module to shift the transmission correctly....If so where do I get said module?

Or is there a way around have to buy this (assuming) expensive converter?

Right now the truck is a 1999 S10 with a 4l60e with under 120,xxx.

Haven't built the engine yet. I plan to do it though.

350 bored .030 over... Haven't decided on this one yet.
I don't know if I want the stroker kit. Or just a complete rebuild.
Edelbrock performer intake, and a holley 750, and a MSD ignition.

Thanks.

Tyler
