My 4l60e is pissinig me off. Sometimes when it goes to shift to 3rd it seems like its just shifting into nutreal, then sometimes it shifts into 3rd no problem and on into 4th. I recently had the trans rebuilt and it worked fine for a few weeks and now this. Its weird because it just does this sometimes. Still shifts hard when it shifts and the trans has since been gone through again, still does it. Anybody expeirence this before?

 

I'm having the Identical issue, trans was recently rebuilt too. I'm not happy at all

Hits the limiter and feels like it was thrown in neutral.

 

Same ****. Not happy at all!

 

Definitely sounds like an issue in the 3-4 clutch and or it's circuit. I would contact your builders and let them know what is going on. Sorry to hear about your misfortune. Vince Bielanski
