Default Trans X as a preventative for transmission issues??

Has anyone tried this in their A4 cars? A mechanic I spoke with recently recommended it pretty highly, and I really want to squeak every last bit of life out of the stock tranny. And even if youve never used this product, is there anything else out there you guys would recommend? Any input appreciated

Rebuild in a can. Transx swells seals which may be fine and good as a help out on a dying trans but I can tell you what it will do to a normal soft seal from experince turn it to goo and cause it to fail. The only additive I can suggest for a trans is lube guard or smart blend but really they wont make the trans take more power or even wear better they just help condition fluid with friction modifiers
