Default 4l60 issues

Ok I got some problems with my trans, 6.0lq4 and 4l60 swap in a 96 bird. Problem is i don't seem to have first gear or overdrive. 3-2 and 2-3 is fine seems like second gear start is active. Tranny has a b&m shift kit but is otherwise stock, throwing codes but haven't scanned it yet to be sure. Ideas?

You need to clear codes then drive and scan them . Could be electrical. Could be the solenoid, Could be a tuning issue. Need codes to determine where to look

I ran a test light on the solenoids and grounded them at the PCM and they all clicked so it seems like they are getting power expect for the torque converter lockup one ?

Ok here what it's doing, when you first start the car and roll I have 1st but once it shifts it won't drop back down same way with the overdrive. Thought it could be a tach being off but the tuner says no. Ideas

No one has any Input? This problem is driving me nuts, could the shift kit be improperly installed causing these problems, any ideas are entertained at this point.

Ok got the PCM retuned, while it changed the problems in a way, it's still there, when I first start it and drive it shifts perfectly, but once I stop it doesn't drop down back to first unless I sit a while in neutral or shut off the car, if I don't do that it'll start off in 2nd or even 3rd according to my scanner, this is driving me nuts, point me In the right direction guys and gals trannys aren't my thing at all.
