Default Average 60' with a YTP4400?

What kind of 60' is everyone pulling with a Yank PT4400? Just ordered mine, hoping for some low 1.5s on 9" Hoosier slicks.. Car is fairly lightweight, raceweight should be around 3150-3200 next year.

At that raceweight.. low 1.5's shouldn't be an issue. In good air, you'll probably see some 1.4's.

That is definately what I like to hear. A 1.4x would make by day.

Mine should be here anyday now. With my Pro Stock 4400 i was cutting 1.51s on the stock 10 bolt so 1.4s should be doable with the PT with it hitting harder on the launch.

I was under the impression that the general consensus was the Pro Stock hit harder off the line then the Pro Thruster. Didn't you use to run a TCS converter? Did you see any gains with the YPS over the TCS?

From what i know the PT will hit as hard or a little harder than the Pro Stock converter IF you have the tires for it.

I lost ET going to the Pro Stock over my TCS 4400 because of the low shift extentions the Pro Stock had (5200 rpms) The TCS 4400 had 5800-5900 so the PT should be as good if not better with a better effeciancy than my TCS.

Sounds good, I am only getting 5000 with my TCS 4200 w/ 2.7 STR, and I didn't spin very much if at all with my 1.65 60' launching off idle. It won't stall to more then 2200 without pushing through the brakes. I'm hoping for atleast .15 in the 1/4 with the new converter alone.
