My personal opinion is you're MUCH better off dropping the pan and turning the screw back, rather than screw with PCM settings. Reason being the pressure variation may not be linear, and without a diagram of the curve you'd never be able to get the tables right.
Fix the known problem and you'll always be safe

I re-read your first post, and it seems you're not "sure" if someone turned the screw on the PCS. There could be other modifications that cause that too, either a shift kit, pump modifications, etc. On second thought get a transmission pressure gauge and check the line pressure in all gears. If it's more than just a little over 200psi, there's more going on than tuning or PCS setting.
Get a guage on there and find out where you are. It may all be in the PCM.
