700r4 shifting problems
700r4 shifting problems ive got a 93 trans am with a 700r4. i rebuilt it about a year and a half ago. its been doing great with no problems.
but one day while down shifting from 2nd to 1st at only like 15 mph and it made a weird noise and slipped like it was in neutral.
it will not shift while in OD, but if i put it in 3rd (drive) with will shift fine from 1st-2nd-3rd then i can put it in OD and it will shift into 4th.
only problem it has is it doesnt want to shift thru the lower gears when put in OD.
i figured it was just a stuck valve, but i just pulled the valvebody and none of the valves are stuck??
it also has a transgo stage 2 shift kit
need help figureing this out!!

nvm, i just figured it out.
the forward sprag is screwed.
when i put it in 3rd the trans applies the overrun cluch which overruns the forward sprag allowing the car to move.
now i gata drop the trans =/
