Got my 80 running, question though...
Got my 80 running, question though... I got my 80 conversion done and running,everything went good but the car is stuck in 2nd gear? It wont shift up or down, I haven't had a chance to have my tuner put the 80 tables in, would that fix the problem? or is it something on my end? maybe a loose connection?

Check codes..If you got a harness from lsxtune makes sure you check the fuse! They didn't have a fuse in there .I checked power to that fuse but not thru the fuse if you know what I mean.
I got bunch of codes for shift solenoids lke 753 and think it was 758 and 1860 and trans was not shifting. Put in fuse and all was great.
Also had problem when had speedo set with 17 instead of 40 in the one table.Since my car was t56 and had to set it to 17 as didn't get the 4l80 in for months after put in new 2002 auto/4l80 hybrid hptuners segment tune.
The car was going 20mph and the speed said like 80mph! Trans was like going into high gears at stupid low mph ans was acting like a six speed being driven around in sixth in town..
Fixed speedo and that problem was solved.
So now love my 4l80 to death.
If yours was 4l60 to 4l80 swap then again lkely wiring problem.or have you figured this out yet?
