Default th400 vs. 4L60E

So within the past year I have had my transmission rebuilt 4 times and I am really getting sick of my sh*t breaking so much.

My buddy Mike (Black1994z28) told me that I should have the guy who is rebuilding it, to find me a th400 and build that up with a RMVB and a transbrake instead of having him keep rebuilding my 4L60E. What I want to know is what is all involved with doing the swap, and how hard is it? I have pulled my 4L60E twice so that is not really an issue but install a TH400 I have never done before and I'm not sure what modifications would need to be done to make it work.

Any input would be appreciated

I have a B&M trans cooler already on it. I just e-mailed my guy and he's putting heavy duty race **** in the trans as we speak. He told me I'd need a new trans cross member, driveshaft, and it would cost him too much, so I basically said then you better not f*ck me again or you'll eat the cost.
