No shift at WOT in all gears!
No shift at WOT in all gears! I've been trying to track down a no shift problem since I got my car. Its been sitting in the garage for months until I finally tore into it for a cam and converter. The car hits the rev limiter in all the gears but shifts fine at part throttle. I don't get any DTC codes nor does the trans feel like it slips.
On my way home from picking up the TransAm, my bro was driving the car while I followed in the DD and called me to ask how fast we were going. My speedo read 73-75mph and the one in the TransAm was 60mph.
I know the car is tuned for 3.73's but I'm thinking it has stock gears. Would that cause the shifting issues? Wouldnt the car shift earlier instead of later in this instance? IDK, its got me stumped....what else should I look at?

Yes being programed for the wrong gears could and would cause your issue
