Exclamation Shifting? Does someone have the knowledge

How does the 4l60e work? What gear is it in when you hit WOT? Is it the same from 55 and you put the pedal to the floor? If you put it 3 and floor it what happens?

When you go WOT it will downshift to the lowest gear it can without overrevving the engine. Most of the time it'll drop down to first or second unless you're doing a roll race from 100MPH or something silly like that.

top speed in my 2002 z28 would be in 3rd gear, with the 3.23 rear end.... if it shifts into 4th it will bog down a little bit but should maintain the speed decent enough but its not going to "Pull" in 4th....

In my v6, top speed is also in 3rd gear somewhere around 119-121 when it shifts into 4th it bogs down bad and slows you down.... simply not enough power to push it in the gear, and it only has the 2.73 gear...

Hope this info helps..
