Question Motor Dies When Put In Drive

Just rebuilt my transmission 4L65E, put fluid in, started her up, idles fine, put it in reverse, thats fine, and then when I put it into drive the motor instantly dies, what's the deal? I have never had this issue before. Any info would be great.
