trans shifting problems
trans shifting problems on my 2000 ws6 trans with cooler and fluid level is good with a new filter and fluid mine dont shift in to over drive till the the car temp gets gets 160 then shifts fine.it does have a 3200 vigilante stall but this just started doing it like 3 weeks ago.so i let the temp get up to that then i drive it.i only put 3000 miles on it this year.what is going on.the stall has been in for a year.does anybody have this problem or how to fix it?
Possibly your coolant temp sensor. The PCM is programed not to allow lockup till the engine is at operating temperature

I have an aftermarket gauge installed for engine/coolant temp. You can watch it as Im going down the road, it wont lock-up the converter till the engine hits 114 degrees for some reason (usually about 1 mile from the house). Its like clockwork, 114/bam lock-up.
mabye thats what mine is doing but at 160,not locking up dam it feels like the 4th gear but guess i was mistaken it 4th gear lock up,im going to try that temp sensor and see if that works.dam i dont drive the car much 53000 miles and starting this ****.
