Default What can cause my pumps to keep exploding?

Hey all,

I just got my torque converter back from PI, they checked all specs and everything was perfect. They did replace the hub for free (parts) because it had some scorching from rolling around in the pump parts i guess, but they said it was fine and in spec.

So this is my 4th trans pump to go on this transmission (rotors keep breaking).

The shop has no idea, they say nothing else except the TC can cause it. What else could it be and what can I do to help or alleviate it?

I'm thinking of using the billet steel pump rotor, think that would help?

Thanks for any help at all.

Excessive line presure possibly along with a possible warped flex plate. I would check my max line presure with a guage
