Well there is a shift kit allready in the trans setup if you choose to install and aftermarket type I would suggest replacing both the valve body and separator plate as what we use and what you may add may not be compatable.
As for line presure with the car running and harness unpluged from the trans check the presure at the presure port.
It should not be more than 230 psi preferably around 220 psi. If its more than that you may need to replace or ajust the pcs "presure control solenoid"

ok i wont do the shift kit. i take it the pressure at 220 should be in neutral? are the check ***** in the same spot for your trans and stock?

Yes the ***** go in the stock locations. Max line should be checked in OD position idling with brake applied.
